GUARD CARD PROCESS AND LICENSURE
Chief Protective Services, Inc. will assist individuals in the acquisition or process of receiving a guard card through the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) offers the Guard Card Process and can assist individuals in acquiring a Guard Card License.
This includes the following:
- Powers to Arrest Test
- Bureau of Security and Investigative Services On-line Application
- Fingerprinting and Background Check (Provided by the Department of Justice)
Once the guard card process is completed it averages between 7 to 10 days for the State of California to issue a guard card license in the mail. Once your guard card is received you may then work as a Security Officer in the State of California.
